THE HANCUMQUA DEVELOPMENT TRUST positioned as an umbrella body establishes and places `LOCAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TRUSTS` in South Africa`s many municipal districts as expediently as possible bringing change, benefits, and stability to the people, supported by the financial intervention of THE ROYAL HOUSE OF HANCUMQUA KHOI KHOI.

This institution has detailed its own and resultant “trusts” activity and structure lists, organograms, constitution, and five-year operating budgets to enable its “Trust South African Programme” to commence into the greater Port Elizabeth area of the Eastern Cape initially as a “pilot programme” before it yields to public demand and moves across country to numerous other municipal districts within South Africa.

DEVELOPMENT OF HANCUMQUA ROYAL HOUSE SOUTH AFRICA 

All of these divisions will assist with the Hancumqua Development Trust ‘s quest to provide finances to support new initiatives and expansion needs. They will also provide thousands of needed jobs on a national basis.

  1. To encourage participation by the local public/membership in the ongoing affairs of the trust with the doctrine of ‘self-help’ to be entrenched.

  2. To hold its own members also accountable for their own actions/inactions in that social harmony be enabled whilst simultaneously reducing the level of crime and / or conflict.

  3. To be a major creator of local employment through its establishment structure, its community upliftment, training, and development programmes and to act as “paymaster” for all trust aligned projects.

  4. To take on the construction of Royal House subsidized housing, public works projects and local facilities as social developers, for and on behalf of its membership whilst assisting government. Financing these initiatives is THE HANCUMQUA ROYAL HOUSE OF THE KHOI-KHOI.

  5. To provide a membership enquiry/troubleshooting desk to assist members.

  6. To stage events – galas – sports meetings, etc for the interest and entertainment of members. Introduction of a KHOE KHOEN school of arts and culture is currently under consideration

  7. To encourage trusts to be business minded and to acquire or newly establish businesses in their areas of jurisdiction to fuel local employment and trust cash flows.

  8. To become the local instrument in which all residents / members enjoy both faith and confidence in pursuance of its endeavour’s in their interest.

  9. To act cordially yet firmly with any obstruction to its ideals without being disobedient, wilfully unlawful, and politically partisan. They should not incite violence but maintain a position of strict neutrality in its dealings with government.

This is what the vision and concept is about. Empowering the people to unify themselves through trust membership and gain a firmer foothold over the control of their destiny in life. It encourages and rewards pro-activity in an organized manner whilst embellishing the “self-help” doctrine as being the answer to provide for a higher level of participation, co-operation and understanding from the people. As this starts to happen across the country – governance at all levels will become much easier with the nations progress and economic growth greatly increased. For once everybody will know what to expect. God’s plan will be in operation.
